About Your Dentist

Dr. Blake Sessions, DMD, is originally from Colorado. He grew up camping and fishing and enjoying the great outdoors with his brothers. He is a third-generation dentist who really enjoys his work and connecting with his patients. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in gerontology from Brigham Young University. He went to dental school at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Ohio. After graduation, Dr. Sessions moved to Anchorage Alaska to practice dentistry. After 2 years and more than enough run-ins with bears and moose, he moved to Washington where he has been practicing for the last 7 years. 

Dr. Sessions values patient comfort and well-being as integral components to achieving and maintaining good oral health. He believes that healthcare is best practiced through communication, transparency, and mutual understanding. This process allows patients to take an active role in their oral health journey and be proud of their smile.

Dr. Sessions also values education and staying up to date with the modern age of dentistry. He regularly attends continuing education courses in various aspects of dentistry to better serve his patients and their comprehensive dental needs. This is one of the reasons he enjoys general dentistry so much because of all the different kinds of procedures he can offer his patients at the Duvall Dental Center office.

Outside of the office, Dr. Sessions enjoys a variety of hobbies such as sailing, photography, cooking, music, and spending time with family and friends. He loves the outdoors and believes that the PNW is a wonderful place to be and an amazing place to practice dentistry.

I'm grateful to be living and working here in Redmond, Washington. Since graduating from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1993, I've found this to be a great place to build my practice and raise a family. I enjoy cooking, traveling, snow skiing and other activities with my friends and family.

To keep up with advancements in dentistry, we attend regular continuing education courses and local study clubs that meet throughout the year. As an ever faithful Husky, I'm proud to serve as President of the UW Dental Alumni Association, and I'm also an active member of the American Dental Association.
